Meet Jeanne Normand White, L.Ac.

Jeanne received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2003. She was instructed in traditional Chinese medicine by doctors from China, the United States, and Australia and is also educated in Japanese, Korean, and French acupuncture.

As a Qi Gong practitioner and former teacher, Jeanne uses Qi Gong energy on the acupuncture needles to enhance their effectiveness. Having become a clinical Western herbalist prior to her studies in Oriental Medicine, Jeanne incorporates her Western herbal knowledge with the intensive study and application of Chinese herbal medicine. She believes in the importance of using herbal medicine and healthy food choices to resolve disharmonies and dis-ease of the body.

Jeanne’s approach to health and wellness begins from the inside out. Whatever is put into your body and mind will be reflected in the condition of your body, mind, and spirit. Jeanne likes to aid her patients in shifting their consciousness via acupuncture and energy medicine so that a harmonious perspective and space for possibility can emerge.

After studying nutrition from many different perspectives, she believes that diet is not something that you do just for weight loss, but for a way of living in optimal health. Jeanne is a strong advocate for good nutrition and healthy exercise.

Jeanne's practice focuses on a variety of issues:
  • Alleviating stress / anxiety
  • Muscular skeletal issues
  • Including alleviating chronic and acute pain
  • Injuries
  • Motor vehicle rehabilitation
  • Post-operative healing
  • Withdrawal of pain meds
  • Degenerative diseases
  • Autoimmune illnesses
  • Digestive issues
  • Diet recommendations
  • Palliative treatments for cancer patients undergoing chemo and radiation

Jeanne also uses massage / tuina (Chinese therapeutic bodywork) Qi Gong bodywork, Qi Gong acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, aromatherapy, and reflexology. Aromatherapy, the use of essential oils, in her treatments magnifies the benefits of acupuncture up to 10 times.

In addition, Jeanne developed Bio-Radiance Cosmetic Acupuncture — constitutional cosmetic acupuncture treatments. These are facial rejuvenation treatments that tone the skin to diminish fine lines and sagging skin, bringing vitality and youthfulness to the skin and body / mind / spirit.

Jeanne has a great reputation and high success rates with her treatment protocols.

A Testimonial From A Pleased Patient

"Jeanne has helped me with a number of painful and physically hindering afflictions over the past few years. I am 50 years old, and even though I have adjusted the intensity of what I do, I am still very active in karate, mountain biking, and working as a costume props artisan in theatre. As a result, I have shown up at Jeanne’s office with injuries ranging from broken ribs and pulled hamstrings to migraines and pinched nerves. She has always listened intently and intuitively, and then assessed and treated the problem effectively. I have great appreciation, respect and trust in her as a doctor and a person, and will continue to rely on her for great treatment."
